We’re in beta so expect stuff to break from time to time. If you're experiencing technical issues with SPILL, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem:
First Steps to Try When Something’s Not Working
✅ Log Out and Back In
- Try logging out of SPILL and back in — sometimes we all just need a little reset!
✅ Check Your Internet Connection
- If you’re not connected to the internet, or if your connection is weak, you might experience slow performance or be unable to access SPILL at all. Get your bars up, fam! Try switching to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
✅ Restart Your Device
- If your connection looks good, try restarting your device. A quick reboot can often fix minor glitches. Maybe SPILL just needed that break too. Explain the actions under this step
✅ Update Your App
- If your SPILL app is outdated, it might not play nicely with your device’s latest software. Check your app store and make sure you’re running the latest version. Don’t slack on those updates!
✅ Clear Your App’s Cache
- Over time, cache can build up and cause issues.
• Android: Go to Settings > Apps > SPILL > Storage > Clear Cache (you can also try Clear Data if problems persist — just note this may reset app settings).
• iOS: Try offloading the app: Settings > General > iPhone Storage > SPILL > Offload App, then reinstall.
✅ Uninstall and Reinstall the App
- If none of the above works, uninstalling and reinstalling SPILL can often resolve persistent issues.
If the issue’s still sticking around, send us a screenshot or screen recording (don’t forget your device type and OS version) at support@spill-app.com — we got you!Was this article helpful?
